About this project

In active development (584 commits, last one 2026-10-19 when checked); no release was tested by us. Online host and client on DCCM (direct TCP port 1234 or Steam P2P). The remote player is shown as a ghost entity (GhostKing, a KingSkin), not a second real hero; no local play. MIT. Its Steam Workshop item showed as removed for violating Steam's guidelines when checked (reason not given), as did DCCM's own Workshop item.

About this project

Local co-op on one PC with two controllers (no networking), a code mod for Dead Cells Core Modding (DCCM) 35.14.1 on game version 35 (Steam). A second real hero with its own health, flasks, gear, mutations, scrolls and HUD; shared camera on the players' midpoint; down and revive; per-player copies of loot, starting weapons and reward-room choices; menus, forge, pause screen and outfit room work on player 2's pad; shared keys; doors, boss arenas and teleporters bring the partner along, plus an L3 regroup. The owner played v0.6.0 from the start of a run to the Bank; v0.7 and v0.8 (fixes for that run, controller picker, per-player outfits) are not yet played. No automated tests. Player 2 has no visible head. MIT license. Write-up in games/dead-cells.
